In the garden the sculptures live outdoors, among the grass, the trees and the local stones: seeds in Majella stone, faces, sprouts. Here the artist observes the flowers and insects that "open to the sun and behave like those of the great forests", and here most of his work is born.
As he writes in his manifesto, "one's native place, with its forms and its materials, can become the training ground for an aesthetic and biological research that reconnects them to the beings of a global, even cosmic, whole". The garden is the most concrete form of this idea: a microcosm in which every stone of the mountain "can be suited to imagining and designing a sculpture, as if it were the bone matter of planet Earth".
